After watching it twice, I reached a good consensus of what I like and didn't like about Teen Wolf: The Movie.
Likes:
*The story, Void returning for revenge. Great choice as he is by far the most dangerous villain in the franchise Also, much of the pack returning to a town they left behind to help a friend while getting tangled in Void's new game.
*Little nods to things that happened in the show (Jackson and Ethan, Derek nearly cutting his arm off, Void mention Ikeda the Yakuza boss in Lethuria Vulpina)
*Allison's story arc. I always fanoned the idea of her coming back with amnesia and finding memories again.
*The cursing, in my opinion, enhances the dialogue of Malia and others during key moments of drama and comedy. A+
*How they handled Stiles' absence. It's heartbreaking but also makes sense. I was afraid they do something lazy like "he's busy" like they do the Fast/Furious franchise with O'Connor. Part of me was hoping he would've provided the final piece to defeat Void offscreen, but this was good too.
*Malia's personality and humor
Jackson being equally funny and helpful to Lydia. Really is her best friend aside from Allison.
*Derek's final bout, sacrificing himself and becoming a True Alpha is probably the best way for this troubled man to come full circle with his arc.
Dislikes:
*No explanation to why Harris is alive.
*Liam and Mason not interacting with each other not even once, they're best friends and not even a "Hey".
*Convolution of characters. What like about the show is that everyone had time to flesh out the large quantities of these characters. The two film cannot accommodate this amount of time required. Little time to know Hikari or re-know Mason and Liam.
*No explanation to Why Argent/Melissa and Scott/Malia broke up.
Neutral:
*The nudity was too much of a surprise to get used to it a second time. It felt forced but not appalling.
*Malia and Parrish being a thing.
*The Jeep now having black doors and being owned by a Hale. (Honestly, I would've loved to see Stiles' reaction to that revelation)
Rating: 8/10

Do we have any teasers about the sequel maybe some of you caught but I didnt
All Ive picked up is the following-
Tyler posey wants more adult moments with the pack
More focus on eli
Might be open to bringing back derek
Jeff would like jennifer and stiles to return
Thats all I got, anything I am missing?
So what are people’s thoughts on the first episode
This is just a theory but perhaps the reason there was no resolution to that arc teased at end of the show is cause when scott said oh yeah there is thousands of hunters, well think about that, scott and his pack as powerful as they are what are their main strengths?, super strength and super senses, yes they have super speed and super durability but its not like they are fast on the level of the flash or have invulnerable skin, so imagine a scenario where enough hunters surround the pack, the hunters would most likely win, they would take casualties but Im picking the humans. The pack would be shot to death with bullets, even parrish who is arguably the most powerful member, he'd be taken out like halwyn. Maybe jackson could survive, maybe, only reason I say so is cause he never got truly defeated in combat, that is how powerful the kanima is. The only way I could see the pack win is through a trap for the hunters or having to water down the situation to allow scotts pack to win.
Maybe it occurred to jeff that oh yeah I put too many hunters in that cliffhanger so he changed course. Personally in retrospect that cliffhanger shouldnt have happened, they could have defeated monroe before she got to escape and the pack could have had a happy ever after but now that is like an elephant in the room and from what I gather they didnt address in movie and jeff didnt say to my knowledge about doing it in a sequel so that is my best guess, he realized threat is too powerful for the pack.
I mean if you didnt notice, even with the ghost riders, they had to water down the situation there, there was seemingly endless amount of them yet they still lost, maybe jeff dont want a repeat of that type of story.
P+ Films that Teen Wolf beat in first day numbers -
Jerry & Marge Go Large - Bryan Cranston and Annette Bening.
Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe - Mike Judge
Infinite - Mark Wahlberg, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Sophie Cookson, Jason Mantzoukas, Rupert Friend, Toby Jones and Dylan O'Brien.
Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin
Honor Society - Angourie Rice and Gaten Matarazzo
Secret Headquarters - Owen Wilson, Walker Scobell, Jesse Williams, Keith L. Williams, Momona Tamada, Charles Melton, and Michael Peña
I won't spoil it but I will say that I expected it to be better. I think it got too much hype and let me down. For me it was about 6/10 stars. Of course that is just my opinion and you should go check it out for yourself! Let me know what you think!
It's such a shame that the writers didn't developed Danny more, he could have been the perfect link between the show and the Hawaiian culture.
Does anyone know when the movie will come to sweden?
