Alice Troughton is an British film director who directed the Season 6 episode Required Reading for MTV's Teen Wolf.

Troughton is an internationally acclaimed director working between the US and the UK who has done work for shows like Legends of Tomorrow, The Living and the Dead, Tin Star, Merlin, The Flash, Silk, EastEnders, Doctors, and the miniseries Cucumber. She also directed and wrote the short film Doris the Builder.
Well known in the Doctor Who fanbase, Troughton has directed episodes for the 2005 series as well the spinoffs Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures making her the only director other than Colin Teague to direct on these three shows. She also appeared on documentaries related to the franchise.
