The Hale House was a fire-damaged home in a wooded area of Beacon Hills, California.

It was demolished to make way for new construction in Season 4.

History[]

It is the former home of the Hale family.

The house was burned down by a pair of arsonists at the behest of Kate Argent six years before the beginning of Wolf Moon. As a result, 8 people were killed.

EDITOR'S NOTE: For the full report on the fire - See Hale Arson Conspiracy.

It was believed during Seasons 1 and 2 that all members of the Hale family except Derek Hale, Laura Hale and Peter Hale were killed in the blaze.

In the Season 3 episode Chaos Rising, Derek learns that his younger sister Cora also survived the fire.

As of the Season 4 episode, 117, the house has been demolished.

Subsequent Use[]

During Season 1, Derek Hale lives in the ruins of Hale House. It is where he attempts to train Scott McCall to control his werewolf nature. During Formality and Code Breaker, Derek was locked up and tortured under the house. The final battle of the season is fought here as well.

In Season 2, Derek comes back to the house looking for answers to the Kanima. It is also where The Alpha Pack leaves their symbol to show Derek, Issac and Peter that they were in Beacon Hills.

In the Season 3 premiere, Tattoo, it is revealed that the county now owns, "has taken control of", the property and the House.

In Season 4, Hale House is torn down to make way for a new housing development.
