Nobi Nakanishi appeared as the Nogitsune-possessed Yakuza boss in the episode Silverfinger and as the descendent of that character in the episode Letharia Vulpina.
He returned as a new character, Deputy Ishida in the Paramount+ streaming feature Teen Wolf: The Movie in 2023.
Career[]
Nakanishi is best known for directing the much lauded and highly ranked podcast drama The Leviathan Chronicles[1]. In addition to his appearances on Teen Wolf, he plays Ito in the Hulu Marvel Universe series Hit Monkey and Vice Principal Kasai on the Paramount+ series Wolf Pack.

Nakanishi is a graduate of the Maurice Kanbar Institute of Film & Television at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where he received his MFA in Dramatic Writing ('05). He received his BA at Vassar College where he crossed paths with Teen Wolf Creator Jeff Davis who was working on a degree in film.
When casting for the new movie began, Davis immediately thought of Nakanishi.
