Susan Walters is an American actor who portrays Natalie Martin, Lydia Martin's mother, on MTV's Teen Wolf.
Early Life and Career[]
Walters was born in Atlanta, Georgia and attended Chamblee High School. She became Miss Teen All American in 1981, representing Georgia.
She then landed her first television role in 1983, originating the character of Lorna Forbes on the ABC soap opera Loving in the show's first season. Her future husband, Linden Ashby, portrayed her cousin Curtis Alden on Loving in the late 80s.
Her first major role was that of Priscilla Presley in the television miniseries, Elvis and Me, based the latter's autobiography of her marriage to Presley.
From 2001-2004, and in 2010 she portrayed Diane Jenkins in soap opera, The Young and the Restless.
In addition to Teen Wolf, Walters' most recognizable roles in genre programing include The Vampire Diaries and The Flash both on the CW. She portrayed Carol Lockwood on TVD from 2009-2012. She is currently, as of 2020, recurring as Dr. Carla Tannhauser, a scientist and Caitlin Snow's (Killer Frost) mother.

Walters remains married to Linden Ashby and the two have shared the screen on the same shows several times including Spy Games, Melrose Place, The War Next Door, The Young and the Restless and Teen Wolf.
The couple has two daughters, Frances Grace, born 1991, and Savannah Elizabeth, born 1992.
