I could see that, yep.
I actually enjoyed the first few seasons of Vampire Diaries but watching the show today is like stabbing my eyes with scisors and slowly turning them to dig deeper. Just terribly aweful and HOW THE HELL did Caroline survive this long!? Anyways, back to TW.
I'd say 6 to 7 seasons top if he does the 12 episodes at a time thing (Which he will for S4).
But I could EASILY see a Scott graduating and moving to the big city (LA) or anywhere else big city'ish but giving the show a SpinOff feel. Like, still Scott but new place, new people bigger big bads. You drag his pack along but a lot of the cast would need to change. And that could run for another 5 years. A little like they did with Buffy/ Angel. 1 season to transition and then the new show goes on a few more years.
I definitely agree, since they can't really follow Scott into adulthood and still call it "Teen" Wolf. :P But since each episode is about a month, and they're still in first semester of their junior year.... I think there'd have to be some pretty length time gaps to end it at season six.
That said, if the writing doesn't improve drastically I don't know if I can handle it for longer than that.
The way the writing's going and the interest beyond the show in Dylan O'Brien and Tyler Hoechlin it's extremely doubtful it'll be renewed beyond season 4, esecially if they kill off a major draw like Derek/Tyler H.
They are probably gonna have 5 or 6 seasons, although if they have good ideas, like they had for the past 3 seasons, I think they should go for longer.
i say as long as it makes sense, i think around 7 is a good mark, but then after 7, id think that its stupid that all these big bads just coincidentally keep showing up one after another, i think 5-6 will be the end
I think it should end on 6 or 7, and should either finish with the whole Beacon Hills being a Beacon bringing Lycaon the first werewolf to Beacon hills and somehow Scott killing him to become the protector of Beacon Hills. Or Scott finding a cure for being a werewolf because that's what he wanted in Season 1 and Season 1: Search For A Cure.
Sorry but you can not get enough of a good thing. I would rather watch Teen Wolf, Supernatural than any other shows. Heck Supernatural is on 11th season and it's great but Teen Wolf has constant wild actions. I feel if something is good, works, don't break it or stop it. Get the public's view, ratings, or survey. I've watched Charmed from very first one now they have new ladies playing sisters. It's is an adjustment but I like so far. Vampire Diaries need to come back!!! Fresh, new are good things but do not get rid of that which people want. There are so many things on TV that are a waste of the brain, electricy etc. Jacque Caron, TC Mi
