Throughout his work, he acted as a cinematographer, director of Photography, second camera assistant, and a camera loader.
Barron contributed to television productions like Goliath, Preacher, Eye Candy, Sweet/Vicious, Mad Men, Community, The New Normal, Awkward, Me, Myself and I, Queen of the South, Threat Matrix, CSI: NY, Lady Dynamite and Bones.

After the show moved to Los Angeles, Barron replaced David Daniel as the show's camera operator from Season 3 to Season 6. He returned to the franchise for the 2022 Paramount+ film
