So Many Departures

This Season of Teen Wolf had many departures. Who will you miss the most?

The biggest loss in Teen Wolf history (since Jackson left) is one of our beloved heroines going out in the midst of battle. Like Colton Haynes before her, Crystal Reed decided to leave the show.

Allison Argent will surely be missed.

The new girl/love interest captivated us with her journey to becoming a strong individual. The skilled hunter did not need her relationship, or lack there of, to define her character.

Losing her mother sent her on a dark path of blood-lust, but she came back and was redeemed and forgiven.

She died trying to save her best friend and protecting the man with whom she was falling in love.

She's made an indelible impression on Teen Wolf Fandom and the supernatural and teen drama genres.

Erica Reyes, who felt beautiful and confident after the bite, was not the best fighter but determined to prove herself.

Gage Golightly exited the show before filming began on Season 3 but surprised us all with a "Special Appearance" that showed us Erica's final moments.

She died doing what all heroes do; fighting against the bad guys.

Boyd, who was lonely, got his wish to have friends... pardon me, to have a pack.

He became Derek's right hand man and had a tantalizing back story glimpsed briefly in Motel California. Many of us would have preferred he remain to explore that further but that was not to be as Boyd fell to The Alpha Pack.

In his own way Boyd was trying to be like Scott and Derek. To protect the ones he cared about and to fight when fighting is called for no matter the odds.

Ethan and Aiden started out as badass Alphas from Deucalion's pack who could once merge together to form an even bigger badass Alpha.

Jennifer Blake "killed" that merged form but the twins survived and in the later half of Season 3 started down the road to redemption.

While their murderous past blocked them from joining Scott's Pack fully, they stayed close and fought to protect him.

They also made real "human" connections with Danny and Lydia which made them want to be better.

When they wanted to run away, Derek inspires them to stay and fight for Scott's cause.

Aiden died as one of the good guys and while Ethan has now left Beacon Hills there's hope we might one day see him again.

Another fan favorite werewolf left town at the end of Season 3.

Actor Daniel Sharman wants other things for his career right now and left the show.

Isaac Lahey, the abused orphan, left Derek and turned to Scott as a role model because "he always seems to do the right thing."

Their brotherly bond was a highlight for many fans and provided a stability Isaac had not known in his own family.

His relationship with Allison grew from a forced friendship to an intimate closeness and her loss hit him especially hard.

The character's arc, rising from a troubled past to become a hero, is a classic fictional journey. Daniel specifically asked Jeff Davis not to kill Isaac so that someday that journey might continue.
