"Mirror, Mirror on the Wall, who’s the baddest of them all?"

It's that time again. This was a long Season but we had a lot of villains this that brought our heroes to their knees more than usual. We had mad scientists, hybrid supernaturals, returning villains and even the legendary Beast of Gevaudan. This time, there are five polls to vote on. Lets see which antagonist, chimera, or returning villain was interesting.

The Dread Doctors[]

DESCRIPTION: Paranormal Darth Vaders

These scientists (a Surgeon, Pathologist and Geneticist) devoted their time to prolonging their lives through supernatural means while turning teenager into cheap knock off supernatural being who break the rules of that world. With electromagnetism as their power source, they were able fight, create hallucinations, and cause amnesia to a certain degree. Their ultimate goal was to create the perfect killer by resurrecting the Beast of Gevaudan through one of their chimeras. This feat was influenced by Marcel (The Surgeon) who wanted his friend back. But as is the way of these tales, these mad scientists are killed by the very monster they created.

Theo Raeken[]

DESCRIPTION: Arrogant, power hungry "Peter" clone

A former classmate of Scott and Stiles, he killed his own sister in order for the Dread Doctors to use her heart to make him a genetic chimera. Charming, cunning and amoral; Theo was able to drive a wedge between Scott and Stiles and the rest of the pack in order to take them and Scott’s power as his own. When that failed, he resurrected a few chimeras as a backup plan. He spends the second half of the season trying to steal the power of The Beast of Gevaudan using any means necessary. Becoming desperate and irrational thanks to Deucalion, he kills Josh and Tracy for their power and attempted to do the same on the Beast but learns that he had been deceived by Scott of all people. Before he can exact revenge, however, his sister drags him to an underworld as it were.

Dr. Gabriel Valack[]

DESCRIPTION: Telepathic Doctor

Hannibal Lecter’s got nothing on this mad psychiatrist. With patience, an amoral conscience and a third eye through trepanation, he waited for an opportunity to break out of his cell to continue his own experiments on the supernaturals of Beacon Hills. He attempts to use Lydia to find the identity of The Beast and stop the Dread Doctors even at the cost of her life. His experiments on a banshee eventually led to his demise when a scream literally blew his skull up.

Corrine, The Desert Wolf[]

DESCRIPTION: Werecoyote/Assassin

And we thought Mrs. Argent was the worst mother. Corrine is a cold, ruthless assassin that hooked up with Peter Hale and gave birth to Malia. Doing so meant some of her power was given to Malia and an angry Corrine wanted it back. Willing to hurt anyone to get to Malia, she caused harm to Deaton, Braeden and Stiles for power. Eventually, Malia turns the tables on her and takes the rest of her power as retribution for her adoptive mother’s and sister’s demise.

Sebastien Valet[]

DESCRIPTION: 18th Century Demon Wolf

History’s most vicious and infamous werewolf, Sebastien Valet was a monster before he became a werewolf according to Jeff Davis. Drinking water out of the puddle of a werewolf turned him into raging shadow wolf. His sister does all she can to stop him with no success until she forges a steel pike with her own blood which finally kills him. Adding insult to injury, his name is erased from history so no remembers heinous deeds as a man, but as a monster. Resurrected through Mason, Sebastien searches for the weapon that killed prior while causing trouble for some of Scott’s friends. Upon confronting the True Alpha, he proves to be stronger and nearly invincible. It isn’t until he sees what he believes to be his sister in Scott’s memories that he is distracted long enough to be subdued and release Mason. As a shadow, he tries to escape but is stopped by Hellhound Parrish and Scott who delivers the killing blow with remnants of the pike he sought after.


Villain Returns[]

This Season also saw the return of not one but two previous antagonists. Both of them had an apparent agenda of their own while working for their reluctant allies.

Gerard Argent[]

DESCRIPTION: Former Incapacitated Hunter

This Hunter was incapacitated by Mountain ash mixed with a bite from an Alpha until he ate yellow wolfsbane (often known healing wolfsbane) which cured him. He delivers information about the Doctors and the Beast. However he desires nothing more than immortalizing himself at the expense of others.

Deucalion[]

DESCRIPTION: Former Blind Manipulator

As Theo’s willing captive, he makes a deal to deliver info about The Beast in exchange for Scott’s eyes as retribution for his recent blindness. During his stay, he instigates Hayden to do what she wants as opposed to listening to Theo, and he encourages Theo to kill his own pack members to absorb their powers. In a clever twist, he is revealed to not only have sight but also was working for Scott. The master manipulator played the arrogant amateur before breaking his neck.


Chimeras[]

These Frankenstein Monsters became Beacon Hills’ latest problems thanks to the Dreads. Each one has unique enhancements designed to make them perfect killers. However, rejection is common in transplants, which in the eyes of the Doctors was failure. Which of these Chimera’s do you think was the best?

Belasko[]

DESCRIPTION: Garuda Mix

This garuda/werewolf hybrid sought to steal Scott’s Alpha status; however, he didn’t count on Scott’s strong will power to prevent the process. Deemed a failure, The Doctors run him through before ravens come flying out of his lifeless body.

Theo Raeken[]

DESCRIPTION: Werewolf/Werecoyote

Theo was able to shift into full wolf/coyote forms and look like a yellow eyed Beta. Being the first chimera, he was, at the time, the closet to success as the Doctors got. Through Deucalion’s advice, he was able to steal powers from other chimeras in order to empower himself. However, his hubris gets the better of him and never gets the chance to be a real werewolf.

Tracy Stewart[]

DESCRIPTION: Werewolf/Kanima

A girl with daddy issues, she can paralyze her victims while defend herself at ease. Her willingness to listen to Theo comes from her desire to prove herself with her newfound abilities. This proves as a disadvantage when your own Alpha is willing to kill you when you want to abandon a fight.

Donovan Donati[]

DESCRIPTION: Wendigo Mix

Yet another victim of circumstance, Donovan held a grudge against Sheriff Stilinski. Becoming a wendigo with lamprey hands makes him wants to rip Stilinski apart. Theo, however, persuades him to go after Stiles instead. Apparently, Donovan didn’t know better than to cross paths with a smart, formerly Nogitsune-possessed teen.

Lucas[]

DESCRIPTION: Scorpion Man

A formerly timid young man, Lucas gain an adventurous but aggressive attitude gaining abilities similar to the Scorpion Man. His venom packs a punch and causes immense pain for the victim. However, enhanced strength and stingers aren’t enough to tackle with an overly charged Thunder Kitsune.

Josh Diaz[]

DESCRIPTION: Long-fanged Electricity Mix

A junior who has electromagnetic powers and long fangs who feeds off electricity as a power up, he clearly has no fighting experience. He makes up for using his power to attack or defend himself against foes. When his conscience gets the better of him, Theo uses that opportunity to takes his power for himself.

Hayden Romaro[]

DESCRIPTION: Werejaguar Mix

Hayden had abilities related to that of a werejaguar. Theo seemed determined to keep her close as he knew what skills she could contribute. She was highly distrustful of Scott until a formr enemy of hers made her realize villains don’t have to be the only survivors. Now she is a Beta werewolf, but would you think it interesting to see her create a berserker of her prior to this change?

Corey[]

This boy may be wimpy but makes the best spy with his ability to camouflage himself with anything. Do you think this boy has a chance beef up like his boyfriend or is he too cowardly for you.

Noah Patrick[]

DESCRIPTION: Berserker Mix

This sophomore got caught in the middle of Theo’s plans through no fault of his own when he nearly kills the sheriff. Being part berserker, he has a bone spike he can use as a weapon. He seemed like a nice guy who just couldn't control his new found powers.

Mason Hewitt[]

DESCRIPTION: La Bete Host

No one in the group thought he could be a chimera, but it turns out that he “ate his twin in the womb” and has two sets of DNA within him. Only transforming under a frequency, Mason remained undetected until Scott caught his sent in a fight. The Dread Doctors use liquid from The Solider to feed The Beast the Power needed to change without a frequency. Mason was nearly lost until Lydia calls him back.


Other three chimeras[]

Beth, Zach and the unfortunate Lady Deathstrike copy never really got see a fight or show off their new talent, but which of these three would’ve you loved to see develop longer?

Peter Hale[]

DESCRIPTION: Imprisoned Psycho

Would you like see this former Alpha try to do what a “cheap knock” couldn’t do and try again. He’s smart and clever enough that he could easily find a way to get the Garuda claws to siphon Scott’s power without Liam, Hayden or an Aztec Temple. That is, if Valack hadn’t done something to make him comatose again.

Kate Argent[]

DESCRIPTION: Were-Jaguar on the Run

This former hunter turned werejaguar could still be on the run and trying to get revenge. With the knowledge she now has from Peter, she could be making an army of Berserkers or just be lurking in the shadows waiting for the right moment to strike.

Gerard Argent[]

With Gerard fully healed, with the exception of a bullet in the arm, he has the strength and potential motive to go after Scott’s pack after his humiliation. And perhaps he’ll try to settle a score with Deucalion.

This Nazi has been a prisoner of war since WWII. Being used to prolong the lives of three scientists, he may harbor a grudge. Escaping into a new century without his Fuhrer and a tolerant society, he could try to start a new pack along with WWIII.
