I believe, unequivocally, Peter Hale is my favorite character on Teen Wolf.
For being a sassy zombie werewolf, girl looks good. That being said... don't really understand the hate here.
I guess I am a terrible person for feeling this way, but... was his vengeance so completely horrible?
I would like to offer up a comparison: the Bride from Kill Bill.
Ms. Kiddo rose from the dead (coma), kicked some ass, slaughtered a lot of folks, and didn't bother with the names.
Verdict? anti-hero, but "hero" nonetheless.
Back to my original question - if the Bride from Kill Bill, and all those movies about people out to get vengeance (who inevitably succeed) - (e.g. Punisher, Taken, Old Boy, Mad Max, Straw Dogs, Memento, Lucky Number Slevin, hell - True Grit, the Crow (all of them), Payback... need I go on?) are lauded as heroes, anti-heroes, whichever - you are rooting for them, is it so bad to want to root for Uncle Werewolf, revenge and all?
Nope.
We're all for you, Peter. Just don't get in the way of my Mama McCall/Sheriff Stilinski ship, that puppy will crush your dinghy like a Navy cruiser versus a paddle boat. Parents need love, too.
