It’s the holiday Thanksgiving in the United States this week and the promotional team at Paramount Plus and MTV have released a collection of iconic promotional images of the cast from Teen Wolf: The Movie.
It’s important to note that these are not actually shots from the movie. These were shot for promotional purposes on the last day of production at the Capitol Arts facility in Atlanta back in May.
You can check out the full collection on the official Teen Wolf Instagram.
One bit of confusion I started seeing immediately has to do with these two images.
The images of Scott McCall and Liam Dunbar in partial wolf face are very cool, but this isn’t what the werewolf special effects in the movie will actually look like.
If you watch this video of the promotional photo shoot, you can see neither of the actors were in full "special effects" makeup on the day. They just popped in a dental prosthesis and made some faces at the camera.

The deep shadowy facial expressions and the eye glow in the images are photo effects added later by the team that edited the photos. Those photo editors are not part of the actual movie production. The bottom line is that the final werewolf special effects for the movie will not look like the promotional images released by Paramount Plus.
