Gone Gage Gone
My email exchange with Gage Golightly’s management team created a stir on Tumblr last night.
Some fans threatened suicide after news that she was no longer part of Teen Wolf.
Angsty hyperbole aside, news of Gage’s exit was met with shock and anger by many, but former Teen Wolf cast member Stephen Lunsford was not surprised in the least. In response to a fan’s question Stephen wrote:
- “I know that she isn’t, but I thought that was old news.”
Well, it was new news to most of us.
I knew she had not been photographed with the rest of the cast during the first read through back in November and while almost every other cast member was seen or heard from on set, Gage remained silent and absent.
We still don’t know why she’s not returning or how Jeff Davis and the other writers will handle her character’s absence or exit or whatever.
All we know is that the person who manages Gage’s career says she’s done with the show and not giving any interviews about it.

Teen Wolf Social Media folks know how to tease the fans into frenzy – the latest example is a series of GIF’s posted on the show’s official Tumblr showing Tyler Posey getting tongued by a prime example of Canis Lupus.
And while the MTV Remote Control Blog continues to report that this touching scene took place “on set” it is clear from the new images that they are at some sort of wolf habitat or sanctuary near Los Angeles.
My guess is that it is Wolf Mountain in Lucerne Valley but I can’t be sure.
We should find out soon enough, MTV is promising to release a video of the wolf play soon. Follow them on Twitter for more.

It turns out I was wrong about the location, They're just north of Los Angeles in Acton, California at a place called Wolf Connection.
It's a combination Wolf Sanctuary and Youth Outreach program.
