MTV’s Arden Cho Twitter Diss
Sooooo – Teen Wolf Official updated their twitter cast list the day after the Winter Premiere and a bunch of people got dumped.
Gideon Emery is no longer part of the Teen Wolf Twitter family, neither is Alicia Coppola, Ian Nelson, Felisha Terrell, Adelaide Kane nor Haley Webb. There’s also one removal that may take the “presumed” from the “dead” on one of our Character Pages – Adam Fristoe.
Not unexpected really – they keep that list to be a shortcut to information about the folks ON the show and well… all the folks above are not anymore.
They added just one new cast member to the list – Matthew Del Negro.
Scott's Dad immediately felt the hate of the Teen Wolf Fandom (the character not the actor). Del Negro took it in stride, retweeting some of the worst and taking the whole thing as a huge compliment to his skills at bringing an unlikable character to life on screen.
Yep, they just added that one actor to the list… seems like they’re forgetting something kind of important… what could that be?
OH YEAH – Where’s Arden Cho?
She is a prolific tweeter/YouTuber/instagramer (at least she was until the production lost their minds about leaks from set) and she’s obviously going to have a major part in the season – I can’t figure out why she wouldn’t be included in the “Social Media Cast List.”

She did a bit of an overshare about what’s to come with Kira this season when she sat down with SheKnows.com.
I stopped watching at a 1 minute and 31 seconds because I really don’t want to know but I present it for you here in case you do.
We’re #1 (if you don’t count a bunch of other stuff)
Okay, so – I told you all about how good Teen Wolf’s ratings were for the Winter Premiere (check the Teen Wolf News Archive for January 8 if you missed it) but now we’re seeing a lot of headlines and tweets of headlines saying the show was “Monday's #1 original cable series”.
That’s not really true. It seems to be a branding slogan the folks at MTV came up with and are disseminating in press releases that some outlets are just posting without actually checking to see if the information is accurate. It’s the “go to” phrase for the folks at the network it seems. A Google search of “No. 1 original cable series” and “MTV” turns up more than one hundred thousand results. Now, a bunch of those are just outlets regurgitating the press releases – but they use it A LOT.
For the record -
- The BCS Championship on ESPN was actually the #1 show on a cable channel Monday night with 25 million viewers.
- Major Crimes on TNT was the #1 scripted drama/original series of the night with 4.9 million viewers.
- Teen Wolf was also beat in the ratings by WWE on USA (4.7 million) and a couple of Big Bang Theory reruns on TBS (2.6 million).
Don’t get me wrong – the show did awesome in the ratings. We keep growing every season and we’re a major contender now in the overall cable landscape.
Because of all that - there is absolutely no need for the false network hyperbole that just makes us all look silly.
UPDATE: They're apparently making the claim based on the "Rating Share" of a section of the audience. If you only include those people 18-49, Teen Wolf scored a .09 and Major Crimes scored a .08.
However, if you use that as the standard, Single Ladies on VH1 actually wins the "original cable series" crown with a 1.4 share of the total audience sooooo....
