Teen Wolf Wiki Canon: Timeline
An interesting question cropped up on the Teen Wolf Wiki Legitimate Canon Questions Forum this week about the ever shifting Teen Wolf Timeline.

- “Someone around here mentioned something about the timeline being changed so the date is now 2013 in the show. Is this true? Also, if it is, does this mean that past event have been moved up two years, or did their dates remain the same?”

The answer is somewhat complicated but it’s what we’re going with for now until something changes in the way the production handles the issue.
I've been talking with MTV directly about the timeline for several months now.
They've chosen, for whatever reason, to reflect the current "real" year on screen while still maintaining that everything is happening in the same year for Scott and his friends.
Lucky for them, they've not given hard dates for most key events - like the Hale House Fire remains 6 (now nearly 7) years ago.
They're NOT dealing with the fact that some dates shown in Anchors and other episodes cause the "important dates" that they did show on screen to move further back in time.
- The day and year of the Alexander Argent suicide
- The year of the swim team party for Matt
- The year of Kate's birth
They tell me they want to fix these problems but have thus far made no move in that direction.
The official position of Teen Wolf Wiki - any date shown later than October/November 2011 is a production "mistake" and doesn't change established canon.

Price Peterson be Trippin’
This week’s Price Peterson Photo Recap of More Bad Than Good is just all good.
I cried. Not ashamed to say - I laughed till I cried AND a little pee came out, I think, when I got to this bit.

Do yourself a solid and go read Price Peterson right now.
The Extended Promo for Galvanize
I’ve stopped watching the “Next Episode” previews. I find I enjoy the show more when they come as a complete surprise.
That said, we still present them on the site for folks who do want to see them.
This week - according to the thumbnail image I saw – introduces actor (and legendary hugger) Doug Jones to the cast.
