Arden Still Talking

So um… I guess you would describe Arden Cho as “chatty” right?

She’s done more interviews than any other “new” cast member of Teen Wolf that I can remember.

Her latest interview is for the Asian American internet network ISA-TV. That stands for “International Secret Agents Television” - a name I <3!

She talks about the development of the Kira character and how she didn't see a need for the productions’ efforts to accurately reflect her racial makeup.

Jeff Davis made the character Japanese/Korean because, while the story in Season 3(b) is delving into Japanese mythology, Arden is actually of Korean descent.

You might remember that Davis left twitter in 2012 over criticism that he was insensitive to “Women of Color” because he was unable to follow through with his stated desire to make the character Kali East Indian. The production is now hyper-sensitive to the racial makeup of its actors.

EDITORS NOTE: I think this is exactly what Dr. King had in mind.

Coyote or….?

There’s lots of debate raging now about another casting choice for Season 3(b).

Did the production cast a wolf hybrid to play a coyote?

We have a self-declared expert on the forums claiming that he’s “from Texas” and he “knows a coyote” when he sees one. He says Malia was portrayed by a wolf/dog of some sort. He's adamant, claiming coyotes are an animal with which he is intimately familiar.

Here are some images of Coyotes to compare with similar images of the actor playing Malia. I can’t tell the difference, maybe you can.

Of course none of this changes the fact – as far as official canon is concerned - it’s a Werecoyote.

You Twittered Questions

You twittered some questions and Ryan Seacrest posted this thing with Posey, Dylan and Crystal answering those questions from Twitter.

There is some really funny stuff.

On this alleged TV show, Lydia’s Mom from Teen Wolf played a pivotal role this one time.

MTV has all the details from way back when on the Remote Control Blog.
