Erbody Liked Galvanize… Sorta
The ratings are late this week – thanks in part to a national holiday in the US – but the reviews are in and while many of the critics agree that Galvanize was one of the strongest Teen Wolf episodes on several fronts, not everyone seemed to enjoy the piece.
Phil Dyess-Nugent of the A.V. Club gives the episode an A- mainly because of the dinner scene with Kira and Scott.
- “The high point comes when Scott, wrestling with chopsticks for the first time, drops a morsel of food, and Kira catches it with her own chopsticks. It’s a striking and tender erotic image, even with her parents sitting right there, grinning and trying not to shudder.”
Doug Jones made quite the impression on everybody, Den of Geek’s Ron Hogan summed up the performance.
- “From scene one, William Barrow is probably the most frightening villain on Teen Wolf since Mama Argent was glowering at Scott with her evil eyes and trying to kill him via asthma attack. He brings such potent menace to every scene he's involved in…”
Doug Jones also gets high marks from the A.V. Club and Alyse Wax over at FearNet who was disappointed we didn’t get more William Barrow in the show.
- “I wish that more of the episode was focused on Barrow. It started out there, and was really intense and engrossing. That was my favorite storyline. But then, in the middle of this manhunt, Scott goes to a dinner party and jokes about sushi.”
TV= Reviewer Jocelyn W didn’t seem to like the episode at all and instead offered many ideas for the writers to improve their product.
- “…shouldn’t Lydia have some reservations about Aiden? She was there when the twins killed Boyd. Clearly, this is another one of those things that will require the suspension of logic, but I’m not a fan of this pair at all.”
- ”I do really wish the writers would find more to do with Danny. I’d take more Danny over the twins anytime.”
- ”The crazy child killer is so creepy and so against the grain of the typical Teen Wolf villain. Change is always great, but I want him gone soon.”
And, as is always the case, some folks like Carissa Pavlica over at TV Fanatic just didn't get it.
- “I watched the entire hour twice and I'm still not sure what I saw.”
Take the Quiz
So the official Teen Wolf Wiki Personality Quiz is up and running.
I got Scott. That's fine, I guess, but Stiles or Derek is the prize I think most folks are after here.
Do this site a favor, won’t you, and share the quiz on your various social media platforms. I would very much like to see this become the annoying facebook post that all your friends get sick of seeing.

Just like we saw during the preseason contest we ran with MTV, some users are reporting a blank page when they access the quiz. This happens because you have an “ad tracker” blocking app like Ghostery active in your browser.
Turn it off and you can play – then turn it back on and reload the page to rid yourself of the annoying trackers.
We’re Waiting MTV…
The new “Next On” trailer hasn't been released on the web yet by the Powers That Be at MTV and - as is always the case – bootleg versions of the trailer are popping up.
Oh look! Here’s one of those now!
Dylan Spills Some Secrets
Dylan O’Brien did a thing with Collider which seems to confirm what we hinted at during filming at one of LA’s most popular locations for filming back in October.
I didn't read the whole thing (spoilers), just saw a pullout quote, but it’s a big fat juicy plot point.
