Stiles Returns in 6b[]

While Dylan O'Brien told fans his return to Teen Wolf would be "one and done," a source within the production tells Teen Wolf News that they've cut a new deal for the actor to return beyond episode 610.

As I reporter, I’ve always found actually visiting a place and getting to know the people there is always the best way to cultivate sources. This has been true of my autumn trip to visit the Teen Wolf production. You’ve read a number of the interviews with the folks I met there, and many of them still stay in touch which brings us to today, Wednesday, January 25, 2017.

I got an email from one of my new friends inside the Teen Wolf production. It was simple and got straight to the point, “Want a little scoop? Promise not to tell anyone you heard it from me?” I responded quickly in the affirmative. Of course we want a scoop! Even though it means that this week’s edition hits later than normal, a scoop from set is always welcome. I was not expecting what came next. “610 will not be O’Brien’s last episode.”

Up until today, all indications were that Dylan O’Brien would not appear beyond next week’s episode. We probed our source for more information about how frequently he will appear, the circumstances behind this change in plan, and the logistics of his filming schedule but got no further information. “Not at the moment,” says our source. “They’d probably kill me.”

Because I know there will be naysayers (there always are) I’ll just say that I trust our source’s information completely. While I’m trying to track down more folks out there in LA to confirm, I believe this information to be true. Dylan O’Brien will appear again after next week’s episode.

BTS of Memory Found[]

During my October trip to the Teen Wolf set, Cody Christian and Dylan Sprayberry were shooting part of their scenes from Memory Found. The reshoots found the men battling Ghost Riders in what appears to be the basement of the hospital.

I had the chance to spend time with episode Director Tim Andrew and script supervisor on this episode Kate Eastridge.

There were also about a half dozen Ghost Riders on set that night too.

Next on Teen Wolf - Riders on the Storm[]

Riders on the Storm  is the tenth episode of Teen Wolf Season 6.

According to the network, this is the big final showdown with Garrett Douglas and the Ghost Riders.

With the fate of Beacon Hills hanging in the balance, Scott and his pack face off against Douglas in a final showdown.

The title comes from a song by The Doors. "Riders on the Storm," released on the group's 1971 album L.A. Woman, was inspired by a 1948 song called "Riders in the Sky" by Stan Jones.

Besides the chorus, The Doors' song doesn't actually mention any of the imagery of the Wild Hunt and the penchant for the Ghost Riders to take people to join their never-ending ride. It was Jones' song that popularized the old Norse legend in the guise of cowboys in the American west.

In addition to the theme of supernatural beings riding a thunderstorm, The Doors' Jim Morrison included lines about a hitchhiking serial killer. "Riders" was Morrison's last song recorded with the group and the last released before his death.

Riders on the Storm will air Tuesday, January 31 on MTV and the MTV app. You can also get new episodes of Teen Wolf from iTunes and Amazon Video.

Funko POP! Teen Wolf[]

Toy phenomenon Funko is coming out with a line of Teen Wolf-themed POP! figures this year. They released concept drawings for the three planned figures during the London Toy Fair this week in the United Kingdom.

Funko is actually late to the party on our show. Fans and artists have been making Teen Wolf POP! figures for years. Some of those homemade efforts seem better than what the company has planned.

There’s nothing to suggest when exactly you can order the new figures. Teen Wolf was among 800 new POP! designs announced at the fair. Gimodo has a full rundown - http://www.gizmodo.com.au/2017/01/heres-the-800-or-so-toys-funko-announced-yesterday/

Political Animals - Teen Wolf Actors Join March[]

Millions of people marched in cities across the United States on Saturday. Dubbed “The Women’s March,” the event was to protest what many perceive to be the negative political agenda of newly inaugurated US President Donald Trump. Each protestor brought their own causes to the event, but, overall, they put forward a progressive and inclusive agenda that supports basic human rights and specifically equality and respect for women.

Members of the Teen Wolf family were part of the march in Los Angeles which drew a reported 750 thousand participants. We saw Melissa Ponzio, JR Bourne, Director Tim Andrew, and his daughter Claire. Shelley Hennig was caught literally dancing in the street. Many more actors and crew members took part in various events of the day.
